Elmer T. Lee ‘Gold Wax’ Bourbon is a unique spirit produced to commemorate Elmer T. Lee. Buffalo Trace Distillery, founded in 1775 and previously known as George T. Stagg Distillery and Old Fashioned Copper Distillery, is now one of the most celebrated distilleries in America. Previously owned by the Sazerac Company, Buffalo Trace is now recognized globally and has won numerous awards, including seven “Distillery of the Year” accolades.

Located in Franklin County, Kentucky, it boasts over 130 acres of historic, operational architecture. This distillery has been home to legendary Master Distillers such as Albert B. Blanton, E.H. Taylor, Elmer T. Lee, George T. Stagg, and Orville Schupp. This bourbon, crafted from Mash Bill #1, includes the finest corn, rye, and malted barley, and is aged in new oak barrels to peak maturity. It is consistently ranked among the best bourbons worldwide due to its rich taste and exceptional value. Proceeds from this limited edition go to the Frankfort VFW Post 4075, where Elmer T. Lee was a member until his passing in 2013.
